Surrounded by the impressive scenery of mighty summits reaching higher than 3,000 metres, the Hunguest Hotel Heiligenblut is located at 1,300 metres above sea level amidst the Hohe Tauern National Park - one of the most beautiful places in the Alps. Our house is a comfortable, cosy and sporty 4-star hotel in an ideal location in Heiligenblut at the foot of the Grossglockner, Austria’s highest mountain. For children we offer a kids club with a petting zoo and a playground. Active guests will enjoy the tennis centre featuring 3 courts plus a squash court, while for adventure-seekers we offer an animation programme (guided hikes, rafting, canyoning, gold panning, etc.).

    Even though we are not a wellness hotel, we do offer a number of ways for you to finish off your busy day or perhaps just to spend time in our wellness area on a rainy day.
    Our hotel garden offers enough space for recreational activities. Whether you simply want to enjoy lying in the sun on one of our comfortable chaise longues, play volleyball, badminton, boccia or table tennis, or go riding on our pony - the possibilities are endless! Afterwards relax on our terrace with a cup of coffee and enjoy the view of the Grossglockner.

    We constantly strive to offer a variety of cuisines and an impeccable ambience in our restaurants. Check out the varied menu of international cuisine. Here you will experience the culinary variety of a premier restaurant, wrapped in the colourful diversity of a marketplace: it starts in the morning with an elaborate breakfast served until 10:00, and ends in the evening with first-class show cooking, where your dishes are prepared à la minute.

Summer:
Experience the magnificent mountain region surrounding Heiligenblut at the foot of the Grossglockner mountain in the unique Hohe Tauern National Park. Whether you enjoy taking part in our special activities programme, or get out and explore the surroundings on your own - alone, with your partner or your family - boredom is not part of our vocabulary!
Winter:
Winter in Heiligenblut is living the “high life” in its truest sense - not only because it offers picturesque ski runs that lie well above the timberline, but also because you can enjoy the skiing fun well into spring. In addition, Heiligenblut has a lot to offer away from the ski slopes, such as toboggan runs and ice skating, ice climbing on the frozen waterfall, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snow rafting, skiing tours and winter hiking trails.
