The Hotel Pension Herold is a cosy non-smoking hotel in an exceptionally quiet location in Ramsau am Dachstein.
Enjoy yoga lessons with Judith, our yoga teacher, and skiing, cross-country and climbing lessons with Albert, the hotel owner, who also owns the Ramsau ski and climbing school.
    The hotel is located directly at the hiking trails and the cross-country ski runs. The sun terrace offers fantastic views of the Dachstein and the Tauern mountains. We also have a sauna, a gym and an infrared cabin.

    In summer we offer bed and breakfast so that our guests have the possibility to enjoy the long summer evenings in our mountains. In winter we offer half-board with a daily salad buffet and a choice of 2 main courses. In the afternoon we serve delicious, home-made cakes and various teas and coffees.

    Ramsau am Dachstein is a high plateau, 18 km long and 3 km wide. Our hotel is very quietly situated in the middle of this plateau, at the edge of the forest and the meadows and at the end of a blind alley. The village centre is only a 20-minute walk away. From our house you have a wonderful view of the mountains of the Schladminger Tauern and the entire Dachstein Massif.
