The family-run country hotel Stofflerwirt is located on the sunny side of Salzburg, the Lungau - Austria’s sunniest region.
    The cosy rooms and suites are modernly and comfortably furnished and mostly feature a balcony. The hotel offers many sports and leisure opportunities in summer and in winter, and is an ideal starting point for many trips to the surrounding area. For rest and relaxation, there is a wellness centre, a heated pool with sunbathing area and sun terrace, and a hobby cellar, where you can enjoy table tennis, darts, billiards and tabletop football.

    Our "Bürgerstube" and dining room provide the stylish ambiance for delightful culinary treats from our varied menu - and those difficult choices also extend to our lavish buffet.

Our hotel is directly located on the St. Michael golf course and the Mur bike trail.
    The Lungau region offers more than 470 km of signposted mountain bike and hiking trails, and over 50 mountain lakes. Various outdoor activities such as Nordic walking, rafting, llama trekking, and paragliding are also available.
    The Aineck - Katschberg and Speiereck - Grosseck ski areas are only 2 km away. A free shuttle service takes you to the Fanningberg and Obertauern ski areas. For cross-country skiers we offer more than 200 km of ski runs.

By car:
From the north:
Motorway Munich-Salzburg, A10 (Tauern motorway) until exit St. Michael, approx. 5 km in the direction of the B99 Tamsweg-Mauterndorf. The hotel is located directly next to the golf course. Alternatively, on the B99 via Obertauern.
From the east:
Vienna - Semmering - Leoben - Unzmarkt - Murau - Ramingstein or motorway A1(Westautobahn) to Salzburg, then continue as above.
From the south:
Udine - Tarvisio - Villach- Katschberg Tunnel - exit St. Michael.
By train:
From Salzburg to Bíschofshofen and Radstadt, or from Vienna via Unzmarkt to Tamsweg.
By plane:
Salzburg Airport (100 km), Klagenfurt Airport (120 km).
