The family-run, comfortable Hotel Gasthof Mitteregger, located next to beautiful biycycle and walking trails in the centre of Kaprun, offers every comfort and true Salzburg hospitality.
    You can relax and let yourself be pampered in this hotel, which enjoys a central and yet very quiet location. Our hotel is very child-friendly and boasts charm and cosiness, a comfortable ambience and an outstanding cuisine.
    During your stay you can enjoy all sorts of activities. The huge garden with the enormous old chestnut tree is a wonderful place to unwind and relax. A visit to our house bar or sun terrace, with a view of the Kitzsteinhorn mountain, is a perfect end to a beautiful day.
    After a biking and hiking tour in the mountains, you can swim a few laps in our fish and swimming pond, relax in the sauna or get a nice tan in the in-house solarium. We also offer complimentary parking and special parking spaces for motorcycles.

    With the wide range of function rooms in the hotel, we can organise all sorts of special events, such as wedding and birthday celebrations, as well as business meetings.
    For the little ones, we offer a large playground with a swing and a slide, a sandbox, a children’s pool and a ping pong table. On the first floor there is a nice play room with different kinds of games and toys. From Monday to Thursday we offer a special children’s programme. On request we can also assist with anything a family with a baby would need, including baby crib, baby phone, baby chair or buggy. If you would like to enjoy a day by yourself, we can also arrange for a babysitter.
    We offer complimentary use of a range of fantastic bicycles: trekking bikes, mountain bikes, children’s bikes, bikes with children’s seats.

    The team in our kitchen is not just there for the pleasure of our hotel guests, but also to serve visitors to our restaurant from 11:00 to 22:00 daily. Choose from our extensive menu which features regional delicacies, international cuisine and special vegetarian dishes - whatever your heart desires. If you are looking for a culinary treat, then check out our daily specials! We also have special themed weeks such as "Röss'lwoche", "Bauernherbstwoche", and a week during the asparagus season. We place special emphasis on the quality of the produce that we buy, so for example we offer beef from the Hohe Tauern national park region, veal from Kaprun calves, lamb from local farms, and dairy products from the Pinzgau region.
    In summer time you can enjoy your breakfast or dinner outdoors. We serve cool drinks on our sun terrace, or you can simply relax in our spacious, 1,500 m² garden, with a wonderful view over the surrounding mountain range.

    In summer, Kaprun offers countless sports and leisure opportunities. Hotel Gasthof Mitteregger is the principal hotel of the Zell am See Golf Course. Therefore we can offer our guests a 30% discount on a day pass. There are 6 golf courses within a 25-km radius.
