The Hotel Alpenkrone enjoys a beautiful and quiet location above Filzmoos, offering a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.
    The rooms are individually furnished and show a great love of detail. Our international cuisine pampers our guests with delicious specialities. Relax in our newly equipped spa area, featuring an indoor pool, a sauna, a fitness corner, a solarium, a Jacuzzi, varied relax baths and a wide choice of massages. Our children’s playroom, the snooker room, the ping pong room, the TV and video room, the large garden with its biotope and our cosy hotel bar provide fun and entertainment. In winter our ski bus takes you to the slopes and ski schools free of charge. Our hotel is ideal for every family holiday in winter as well as in summer.

    Our restaurant offers a variety of Austrian and international dishes. The half-board arrangement consists of a rich breakfast buffet and a 4-course menu in winter resp. a 3-course menu in summer, with a choice of 2 main dishes. In addition, we offer a wide range of à la carte dishes. Several times a week we serve a salad buffet, and once a week a speciality buffet is offered.

    Filzmoos, the well-known ski resort in the Skiwelt Amadé ski region, is not only a paradise for skiers, but is also ideal for cross-country skiing and ski hiking. Here you will find many lifts and cable cars, great downhill runs for every taste and degree of difficulty, ski schools and facilities for sledging and curling.
    In summer Filzmoos is a starting point for many hikes and mountain tours (Bischofsmütze and Dachstein area). Carriage rides to the Hofalmen (mountain pastures), miniature golf, tennis, cycling, mountain biking and pony rides are available as well.
