Our small, elegant guest house offers a quiet location amidst the Dobratsch Nature Reserve in the thermal spa of Bad Bleiberg, 920 metres above sea level and 13 km west of Villach.
    The non-smoking Gartenpension Lindenbauer emphasizes hospitality, a family atmosphere and personal service. Surrounded by flowering gardens and meadows, the newly renovated house is centrally situated between the town centre, the spa and the healing climate gallery. It is easily reachable on level ground. Relax in the large garden with its many quiet places and enjoy the nature, or make excursions to the beautiful surrounding area, where Austria, Italy and Slovenia meet.

    We pamper you with regional specialities, a rich breakfast buffet, and dinner with several courses on the heated outdoor terrace, all lovingly prepared by our chef Hildegard. We are happy to prepare dishes for special dietary needs (gluten-free, lactose intolerance, diabetics). Our sommelier Carlo will be happy to serve you a bottle or glass of wine from our well-stocked wine cellar.

    15 km west of Villach lies Bad Bleiberg, Austria’s southernmost thermal bath, with a mining experience unique in all of Europe - Terra Mystica, the point of intersection of 3 distinct cultures.
    Within a 20-km radius are 3 lakes: Lake Faak, Lake Wörth and Lake Ossiach. From the Dobratsch mountain, you can see as fae as Slovenia and Italy.
    In 40 minutes you can reach Carinthia's capital city of Klagenfurt, the Weissensee lake, the ski areas of Nassfeld and Bad Kleinkirchheim, and many cultural sights such as Gurk Cathedral.
Also, it only takes about 2 hours to get to Salzburg, Graz or Trieste, and about 2 ½ hours to Venice.
