Furnished in a Tyrolean farmhouse style, the cosy Apart Pension Bärnstatt offers a quiet and sunny location directly at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range.
Surrounded by a beautiful mountain panorama, the Apart Pension is an ideal starting point for sports and leisure activities of all kinds in every season. The village of Scheffau is 3 km away, and beautiful Lake Hintersteiner is 1 km away. For our younger guests we offer a playground and a garden area. As a special service in winter, we offer free transfers with our own ski bus to the ski lift or the cross-country ski run and back.

    Our restaurant pampers you with traditional and international cuisine, partly with products from our own farm. Our varied menu offers something for every taste. We are also happy to prepare vegetarian dishes for you. Our restaurant seats up to 60 people and is furnished in a cosy Tyrolean style.
    In summer you can relax on our wonderful terrace under the shade of the chestnut trees and enjoy the view of the Wilder Kaiser and Brixental mountain ranges.

    In summer the hotel is an ideal starting point for beautiful hikes through the Wilder Kaiser and Brixental mountain ranges, with 700 km of signposted hiking and biking trails. Our guests enjoy free entrance to Lake Hintersteiner, a natural jewel not far away. The Wilder Kaiser golf club offers a breathtaking setting only 7 km away.
In winter the Wilder Kaiser region, with its 250 km of excellently groomed slopes and over 90 ski lifts, is Austria’s largest contiguous ski area.
