    After the recent completion of the renovation works, we pamper our guests in the new AlmSpa, the new bar and lounge and with new rooms with panoramic views. The undisputed highlight is the new 10-metre panorama pool with its massage and bubble deck chairs offering an impressive view of the sunset. A herbal sauna, an outdoor sauna, salt-water and herbal steam baths, a whirlpool tub, relaxation and meditation rooms as well as a comprehensive massage and beauty programme complete the offer. The gym, the dining room with its winter garden, the show kitchen and the seminar rooms are additional novelties at the Hotel Pierer.

    Our guests are not only offered home-made jams, rolls and bread, as well as regional specialities, but also our own wine from the Pierer Winery in southern Styria.

    Located in the heart of Styria, the Almenland (Land of Mountain Pastures) is Europe’s largest contiguous mountain pasture. Since 2006, the region has been a protected nature reserve. In addition to numerous sports and leisure opportunities such as golf (18-hole golf course “Almenland”), climbing, mountain biking and horseback riding, there are many excursion destinations such as the Teichalm Lake and the Bärenschützklamm (gorge).
